RAMALLAH, Saturday, January 05, 2019 (WAFA) � Skies on Saturday are partially cloudy with cold conditions as temperature drops, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to active and gusty at times. Sea waves are medium to high.
Temperature in Jerusalem is expected to reach a high of 13C and a low of 6C and in Ramallah and Bethlehem, a high of 12C and a low of 5C. Hebron temperature is expected to reach a high of 10C and a low of 5C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 21C and a low of 10C, while it is expected to reach a high of 17C and a low of 10C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A low pressure is expected to affect the region on Sunday as temperature is expected to significantly drop. Partially cloudy skies are expected for early morning, with increasing cloudiness, sporadic rain and occasional thunderstorms and hail. Wind gusts are expected to reach 80 km/h.
No change in temperature is expected for Monday with chance of showers especially in the northern areas.
Rain, thunderstorms and hail are expected to resume on Tuesday during the day in the northern districts to reach all areas by nighttime as temperature remains the same.
PMD warns people against gusty winds, especially on Sunday, floods in valleys and low areas, low visibility due to fog formation and low clouds, and slippery roads.
