Weather: Rise in temperature, yet remains below annual average

RAMALLAH, Thursday, Weather on Thursday is partially cloudy and moderate in most area, hot in the Jordan Valley with a rise in temperature, which remains below its annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

A slight chance of scattered showers is expected on some areas, while wind is northwesterly, light to moderate, active at times and sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 24C and a low of 17C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 23C and a low of 16C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 34C and a low of 24C, while it is expected to reach a high of 27C and a low of 22C in Gaza and the coast.

No change in weather conditions are expected for Friday and Saturday, but a rise in temperature is expected for Sunday to become two degrees Celsius higher than the annual average, said the PMD.
