Weather: Temperature higher than annual average; rain expected

RAMALLAH, Monday, Weather on Monday is partially cloudy to cloudy and hot to very hot and dusty with a significant rise in temperature to become 4 to 5 degrees Celsius above the annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

A chance of scattered rain showers along with thunderstorms is expected on most areas during the night. Wind is easterly to southeasterly, light to moderate and sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 29C and a low of 21C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 28C and a low of 206C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 38C and a low of 27C, while it is expected to reach a high of 33C and a low of 25C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

PMD also predicted weather and temperature on Tuesday and Wednesday to remain the same, while on Thursday weather is expected to be partially cloudy to cloudy with a drop in temperature to become lower than its annual average. Rain, with thunderstorms, is expected to fall on most areas.
