‫افتتاح “المعرض الثقافي الدولي”، و”مهرجان السياحة على طريق الحرير” في شمال غرب الصين

دونهوانغ، الصين, 29 سبتمبر 2021 — /PRNewswire/ انطلق المعرض الثقافي الدولي الخامس على طريق الحرير الصيني (دونهوانغ) ومهرجان دونهوانغ السياحي الدولي العاشر لطريق الحرير في 24 سبتمبر في دونهوانغ، وهي مركز رئيسي في طريق الحرير القديم في مقاطعة غانزو شمال غرب الصين.  وقد تم تنظيم كلا الحدثين من قِبَل الحكومة الشعبية لمقاطعة غانزو بالشراكة مع الوكالات الحكومية الأخرى.

ويمتد طريق الحرير القديم في الصين على مسافة إجمالية تزيد عن 7000 كيلومتر (4350 ميلاً)، ويمتد قسم غانزو إلى أكثر من 1600 كيلومتر (994 ميلاً).  وقال يين هونج، سكرتير لجنة الحزب الشيوعي الصيني (CPC) بمقاطعة غانزو، “في السنوات الأخيرة، انتهزت غانزو الفرصة للانضمام إلى مبادرة الحزام والطريق من أجل تعزيز التبادل والتعاون الثقافي”، مضيفًا أن “هذان حدثان يبنيان جسرًا للتكامل الثقافي على طول طريق الحرير، ويضيفان زخمًا لتنمية البلدان على طول الطريق”.

Health Ministry: 317 new coronavirus cases recorded, 12 pass away

Damascus, The Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 317 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 70 coronavirus patients recovered, while 12 others passed away.

In a statement, the Ministry added that the total number of the coronavirus cases detected in Syria has reached up to 33,640 till now, of which 23,669 have recovered, while 2,227 others have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality from the virus was reported on the 29th of the same month.

Significant growth in number of industrial and craft facilities implemented in 2021

Damascus, A remarkable growth has been witnessed in the number of facilities that entered production in the provinces of Aleppo, Homs and Damascus countryside since the beginning of the year until the end of last August, according to the Ministry of Industry.

There has been also a rise in the number of facilities in the main industrial sectors, thanks to the government facilitations provided to industrialists and traders, in addition to the rehabilitation of infrastructure and the issuance of laws and legislations encouraging investment, the Ministry stated.

A statement issued by the Ministry showed that the number of recently implemented facilities reached 251 industrial facilities in Aleppo, distributed among 60 food facilities, 65 engineering, 45 chemical, and 81 textile facilities, in addition to the implementation of 110 industrial craft facilities, distributed between 23 textile facilities, 53 food facilities, 24 engineering facilities, and 10 chemical facilities.

Meanwhile, the ministry’s data showed that the number of facilities in industrial complexes and zones in Aleppo province has reached up to 33,993, including 11,964 industrial facilities and 22,029 crafts facilities, of which 17,229 facilities have started production so far, in addition to 720 facilities operating in the industrial city of Sheikh Najjar and 183 facilities in the eastern countryside of the province are currently being rehabilitated, while the number of facilities before the liberation of Aleppo had been 2500 facilities.

In the industrial city of Hassia in Homs Province, the number of facilities implemented during the current year reached 26 “chemical, engineering, food and textile” facilities, compared to 13 facilities implemented last year.

In Damascus Countryside, the number of industrial licenses in Adraa industrial zone until the end of last August reached 3,757, and the number of operating facilities until was 1,068, while the building licenses since the beginning of the year reached 300.

The ministry indicated that the production wheel in Damascus countryside is actively working in Adraa industrial and the rest of the industrial zones.

It noted that compared to previous years, the current year was distinguished with regard to Adraa Industrial City with the highest percentage of industrial achievement.

Work resumed at Nassib border crossing with Jordan

Daraa, Work has been resumed at Nassib border crossing with Jordan to receive the traffic of passengers and goods with the aim of activating the trade and tourism movement between the two countries.

“Today, Nassib border center was reopened, as it used to be before the Coronavirus pandemic,” Colonel Mazen Ghandour, Head of the Immigration and Passports Center at Nassib border crossing told SANA.

“The border center returned to work for the first time on October 15th, 2018, and it continued to work till the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in mid-March 2020, and five months later, it started to receive Syrian and Jordanian investors, and two months after that, the Gulf residents were allowed to transit partially till July 25th,” he added.

The Ministries of Interior in Syria and Jordan agreed to reopen the crossing on the first of last August, but the security situation postponed the opening until today, according to Ghandour.

On Monday, the Jordanian Interior Ministry announced that Jaber-Nassib border crossing on the Jordanian-Syrian borders will be reopened starting from today morning according to the technical and logistical measures related to reopening it for the traffic of passengers and freight.

A firefighter martyred, two civilians injured in a fire in old Damascus

Damascus, One firefighter was martyred and two civilians were injured on Wednesday in a fire that erupted in a fabric warehouse in the market of the Court Alley.

Director of Civil Defense, Ahmad Abbas said in a statement to SANA reporter that the firefighters and more than five fire engines managed to extinguish the fire which claimed the life of firefighter Hussine al-Mohammad, suffocation of civilians, and the burning of six shops completely and the collapse of other shops.

He added that the nature of the place in old Damascus and the narrow alleys hindered the firemen from reaching the fire engines instantly.
