Injuries among Palestinian protesters by Israeli gunfire east of Gaza

Four Palestinian protesters were injured by Israeli gunfire today during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces east of the Gaza Strip, according to local sources.

WAFA correspondent said Israeli soldiers stationed at watchtowers east of Gaza city fired live bullets, rubber-coated rounds and teargas at hundreds of Palestinian protesters who were demonstrating against the Israeli repression campaign against the Palestinian political prisoners.

He said one protester was injured by a live shot in his foot, while three others were hit by rubber-coated rounds.

Similar protests were also held east of Jabalia, north of the Strip, as well as east of Khan Yunis, south of the enclave. No injuries were reported.
