Israeli forces detain five Palestinians from various West Bank districts

Israeli occupation forces overnight and today detained five Palestinians from various West Bank districts, according to local and security sources. In the Hebron area, forces stormed several neighborhoods in the town of Bani Na’im, where they detained two brothers and a former prisoner in Israeli jails after raiding and searching their homes, causing material damage. Forces also stormed the town of Yatta to the south, however, no arrests were reported. A youth, from the town of Yabad to the southwest of Jenin, was also detained late last night as he attempted to cross an Israeli military checkpoint erected on the Nablus-Jenin road. In the meantime, forces at dawn stormed several villages in the Jenin area and conducted search campaigns. Confrontations also took place in the Jalamah village in Jenin after forces placed a military checkpoint at the entrance of the village. Forces also detained another youth at dawn today after raiding and searching his family home in the town of Burqa, north of Nablus, northern occupied West Bank.
