Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for President Mahmoud Abbas, said today the new pogrom carried out today by the Israeli occupation forces in Jenin, which ended up with the brutal murder of four Palestinians and the injury of many others, aims to blow up the situation and drag the region into violence and tensions.
‘These continuous Israeli aggressive actions confirm that Israel is not at all interested in calming the situation and preventing its eruption, contrary to all international efforts seeking to prevent escalation during the [upcoming] holy month of Ramadan,’ he added.
The presidential spokesman added that ‘condemnations are no longer enough, and what is required is practical measures on the ground by the US administration to stop the unilateral Israeli measures, and to provide international protection for our people.’
