President Abbas, Cypriot leaders of political parties discuss the Palestinian cause

President Mahmoud Abbas received today three leaders of political Cypriot parties in Nicosia where they discussed the situation in Palestine.

At his residence, President Abbas met separately with the leader of the Democratic Rally party, Averof Neofytou, leader of DIKO party, Nikolas Papadopoulos, and General Secretary of AKEL, Stefanos Stefano.

During the meetings, President Abbas briefed the Cypriot politicians on the latest developments related to the Palestinian cause, and the continuing Israeli attacks against the Palestinian people.

He also updated them about the Israeli crimes in Jerusalem, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Islamic and Christian holy sites in the city.

President Mahmoud Abbas arrived yesterday in the Cypriot capital, Nicosia, for a three-day official visit.

Earlier today, President Abbas held talks with his Cypriot counterpart President Nicos Anastasiades.
