Six Palestinians killed, 26 injured in Israeli army assault on Jenin refugee camp

Six Palestinians were today killed and 26 others were injured during an Israeli army assault on the northern West Bank city of Jenin, according to the Ministry of Health.

The dead were identified as Mohammad Wael Ghazawi, 26, Majd Mohammad Huseinieh, 26, Tareq Ziad Natour, 27, Ziad Amin Zareini, 29, Abdul Fattah Hussein Khrousheh, 49, and Mutasem Nasser Sabbagh, 22.

It said three of the injured are critical, shot in the chest and in the pelvis.

WAFA correspondent said the army raided Jenin refugee camp and fired a missile at one of the houses. Armed clashes broke out leading to the killing six and the injury of others.

With the six killed today, the total number of Palestinians the Israeli army has killed or caused their death has reached 73, including minors, elderly men and a woman.
