The President of the Republic stresses the importance of resorting to the Constitution and understandings to find solutions to outstanding problems


Baghdad, The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, stressed the importance of resorting to the Constitution and understandings to find solutions to outstanding problems, stressing the necessity of joining efforts to confront the challenges.

The Presidency of the Republic said in a statement: ‘The President met today with a number of state officials, and during the meeting, he exchanged congratulations and blessings with the officials on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing that it will return to everyone with goodness and blessings.’

The President of the Republic stressed “the need for the official to assume his leadership role and mobilize the energies and efforts of his institution and department to serve the citizen and meet his needs in a way that contributes to the implementation of the government program.”

He added: ‘Establishing security and stability is an important pillar and starting point for providing services and rehabilitating infrastructure,’ stressing ‘the neces
sity of joining efforts to confront the challenges facing the country in the security, economic, and environmental fields.’

The President spoke about the relationship between the federal government and the Kurdistan Region, stressing that ‘the power of the center is from the power of the region and the power of the region is from the power of the center,’ stressing ‘the importance of resorting to the constitution, the law, and understandings among the political forces to find solutions to the outstanding issues between the two sides.’

For their part, the officials affirmed ‘their keenness to perform the duties entrusted to them to improve the reality of services provided to citizens and their insistence on joint work and consolidating coexistence among Iraqis,’ praising ‘the proposals of the President of the Republic in confronting the circumstances and challenges that the country is going through.’
