Weather to remain moderate in high areas, warm elsewhere

As temperatures hover around the seasonal average, Tuesday’s weather is forecast to vary across different regions, with the highlands and plains experiencing moderate conditions while other areas remain warm. According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), clouds will be present at medium and high altitudes, and winds will be northwesterly moderate. On Wednesday, similar weather will persist despite a rise in mercury levels, with northwesterly moderate winds and clouds at medium and high altitudes. Weather forecasters are predicting another increase in temperatures on Thursday and Friday, becoming 3-4 degrees above the yearly normal, especially in the warmer regions of the Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley, the Badia, and Aqaba. Today, the highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom will range between 26 and 24 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 11C or even 8C in the southern highlands. The Gulf city of Aqaba will be warmer with mercury reaching a high of 32C and a low of 21C.
