A Palestine TV journalist among seven Palestinians detained by Israel in the occupied territories

RAMALLAH– Palestine TV journalist Ahmad Hababeh, from Beit Iksa village, northwest of Jerusalem, was among seven Palestinians detained this morning by Israel.

Hababeh was detained at an Israeli army checkpoint near his village, according to witnesses.

Palestinian security sources said the Israeli army detained a Palestinian man and his son in of the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

They also said soldiers detained two other people following an early morning raid at their homes in the village of Bitillo, northwest of Ramallah.

In the Jenin district in the north of the West Bank, soldiers detained two men, 19 and 26 years of age, after raiding and ransacking their family homes in the towns Maythalon and Mislieh, south of Jenin city, according to Palestinian security sources.
