Apple Vision Pro Glasses Help Surgeons in Operating Rooms

Apple’s Vision Pro glasses helped surgeons in the operating room, as orthopedic specialists used them to perform a precise operation on the shoulder joint via surgical arthroscope in Brazil.

When performing operations, surgeons need to see precisely where the surgery is being performed by inserting a small camera into the surgical site, and the surgical field is displayed on large screens so that the medical team can perform the surgical operation.

Apple Vision Pro glasses have high-resolution cameras that can better deal with bright lights focused on the surgical field, and they provide surgeons with a clearer view than other devices.

Orthopedic surgeon Bruno Gobbato and his team performed the operation using Apple Glasses. He said that the glasses enabled him to see the operation field clearly and with great accuracy, as if he were “seeing it on a large cinema screen”, in addition to being able to review the patients examinations, x-rays, and 3D models at the same time through the glasses.

He also relie
d on an app called MyMako During Surgery, which allows doctors to build 3D models of what they will do in surgery first, and view those models while they are performing them.

Bruno posted a video on YouTube of the surgical procedure showing the vision of the surgeon using Apple Vision Pro, as he was able to clearly see his notes, the patients x-rays, and the live screen of the surgical site at the same time.

The glasses were previously used during surgeries in the US and Britain.
