CEC: Voter turnout for the first phase of the Palestinian local elections reaches 30% until 1:00 pm

The voter turnout for the first phase of the 2021 Palestinian local elections reached 30% up until 1:00 pm local time (11:00 GMT), today said the Central Election Commission (CEC).

It clarified that the number of voters in various districts of the West Bank, up until 1:00 pm, reached 122,090 out of the overall number of eligible voters of 405,687.

The CEC also emphasized that the polling process is still going smoothly and strongly without any violations or infringements, indicating that the 222 polling centers in over 154 localities will remain open until 7:00 pm this evening.
