Crime unabated in Palestinian communities in Israel with another murder in the Naqab; police apathy blamed

Crime and murder in the Arab communities inside Israel continued unabated with the murder of a 35-year-old man in Houra town in the Naqab desert as Palestinians blame Israeli police apathy for the rise of crime in their communities.

Reports said Salah al-Sayyed was shot and killed in the town, which brings the total number of Palestinians shot and killed in Arab towns in Israel since the start of this year to 54.

Israeli reports recently revealed that police inaction against crime in the Arab communities in Israel was because most of those involved in the shootings and murder work as informants for the Israeli security service, the Shin Bet, and therefore police is not allowed to arrest them.
