Dailies highlight injury of five Palestinians by Israeli gunfire in Salfit

The three Palestinian Arabic-language dailies focused today on the injury of five Palestinians yesterday by Israeli gunfire, including two seriously, during confrontations with the Israeli occupation army in the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, in the West Bank province of Salfit.

Following are the main headlines of the three dailies:

Al-Quds:

– 7 Palestinians have been injured by Israeli gunfire [in the West Bank], and settlers rebuild a colonial outpost on the land of Tuqu [village near Bethlehem.

– The Arab Peace Group stresses the need to end the Israeli occupation.

– Zehava Gal-On urges Benny Gantz to de-escalate the situation in the West Bank.

– The Palestinian Medical Association embarks on a series of protest steps, and the Ministry of Health calls on medical doctors to remain on duty.

Al-Hayat Al-Jadida:

– 5 Palestinians have been injured by Israeli gunfire, including two seriously, during confrontations in Qarawat Bani Hassan.
