Five Palestinians shot and injured by Israeli forces near Nablus

Five Palestinians were Friday injured after they were shot by Israeli forces near the entrance of the village of Beita, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, sources said.

Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Palestinian Red Crescent Emergency and Ambulance Department, said that paramedics moved three casualties to the Rafidia hospital, where they were all reported to be stable.

Eye witnesses said that an Israeli vehicle opened fire at a number of Palestinian youths, injuring three.

As a result, confrontations broke out with Israeli forces, who fired live bullets.
