Four people have died of coronavirus in Palestine in the last 24 hours as 90 new cases were recorded, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila.
She said in her daily report on the pandemic in Palestine that three deaths were recorded in the West Bank where 37 new cases were confirmed and 88 corona patients have recovered, while one death was reported in the Gaza Strip where 53 new cases and 170 recoveries were recorded.
Alkaila said 79 corona patients remain hospitalized and 50 are in intensive care, while nine patients are on ventilators.
With the new figures, only 0.7 percent of the total coronavirus cases recorded in Palestine since the outbreak of the pandemic in March of last year remain active while 98.3 percent have recovered and 1 percent have died.
