In a meeting with Arab ambassadors to Palestine, Foreign Minister urges support in international spheres

In a meeting in Ramallah today with the Arab ambassadors accredited to the State of Palestine, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Riyad al-Malki, urged the Arab states to support Palestine in international spheres.

Malki briefed the Arab ambassadors on the latest political developments in Palestine as well as the racist Israeli policies and daily violations against the Palestinian people and their leadership, reviewing the efforts of the Palestinian leadership, and the political, diplomatic and legal steps in all international forums to increase international rejection of the occupation and settlements.

While appreciating Arab support for Palestinian rights, resilience, and their just cause, the Foreign Minister urged the Arab countries to support the Palestinian leadership in its endeavors at the international level, including persuading European countries that have not yet recognized the State of Palestine to do so as soon as possible, in addition to pushing forward the implementation of the recent General Assembly resolution calling on the International Court of Justice to issue a legal advisory opinion on the nature and form of this long and illegal Israeli colonial occupation.
