The Israeli occupation authorities decided to seize 500 dunums of land from the villages of Jaba and Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem, to expand a bypass road used by settlers.
WAFA correspondent said the Israeli authorities have informed the two villages of its plan to seize 500 dunums of their lands for the road that links the south of the West Bank with its north and known as Highway 60.
Israel has been demolishing Palestinian-owned structures in the Hizma area, 25 of them in January, to make room for the expansion of the road.
