Israeli bulldozers level land planted with olive trees south of Hebron

Israeli bulldozers today leveled a plot of land planted with olive trees in al-Samou town, south of the city of the southern West Bank Hebron, according to a municipal source.

The town’s mayor, Majed Khalayleh, said that Israeli soldiers escorted a bulldozer into the western part of the town, close to the colonial settlement outpost of Nof Nesher, also called Lucifer Farm, where the machinery razed a four-dunum olive orchard belonging to a local farmer purportedly for being located in Area C of the occupied West Bank, which is under full Israeli military control.

He added that the soldiers assaulted one of the Palestinians at the scene, injuring him.
