Extremist Israeli settlers today assaulted Palestinian shepherds grazing their sheep in Al-Hama area in the northern Jordan Valley, northeast of the occupied West Bank, injuring a Palestinian and his son. Aref Daraghemeh, a local activist, told WAFA that a number of fanatic settlers assaulted Palestinian shepherds while herding their sheep in the area, pepper spraying a Palestinian along with his son. Israeli settlers carry out almost daily attacks against Palestinian shepherds in the northern Jordan Valley and expel them from their own pastures in order to seize the land for settlement expansion.
