Israeli settlers chop dozens of olive trees in Masafer Yatta

Israeli settlers today chopped dozens of olive trees in Masafer Yatta, south of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, according to Fouad al-Imour, a local activist.

He said dozens of settlers from the illegal settlement of Mitzpe Yair chopped 70 olive trees in Khillit al-Dabe village of Masafer Yatta owned by a local resident.

The settlers had also let their herd of sheep free on planted agricultural land, destroying the crops.
