Khan reviews EHS experience in developing Jordan’s health services

A delegation from the Canadian Embassy, headed by Canadian Ambassador to Jordan, Tariq Khan, was briefed on Jordan’s experience in digital transformation in the health sector, carried out by the national Hakeem Program. During a visit made to Electronic Health Solutions (EHS) company headquarters, its CEO, Omar Ayesh, highlighted its role, goals and programs, reviewing its most prominent achievements in the field of raising the level of Jordan’s health care services provided to citizens. According to an EHS statement issued Wednesday, Ayesh presented a comprehensive overview of the company’s role in developing and improving health systems in Jordan’s health facilities. Ayesh also spoke about the EHS’s “advanced” technology used to improve health information management, facilitate access to medical records, and improve diagnosis and treatment, pointing to importance of partnership with leading Canadian companies in the health sector. Ayesh valued Canadian government’s efforts as a donor and contributor to improve the Kingdom’s public health system, by investing in infrastructure of multiple health facilities and facilitating access for Jordanians and refugees to health care in the public health sector through Jordan Heath Fund for Refugees. Meanwhile, Canadian ambassador and the delegation stressed importance of strengthening joint cooperation in the field of health care and exchanging modern expertise and technologies, lauding EHS’s “advanced” technology in improving quality of Jordan’s health care and achieving digital transformation in the Kingdom’s hospitals.
