The Ministry of Interior is investigating an accident that happened early today when a motorist hit cyclists from Asian nations on the Arabian Gulf Road.
The ministry said in a statement the driver whose car rammed into 15 cyclists fled the scene, noting that they cycled on the main road without a permit.
It indicated that applying a permit is necessary so the department could send a patrol to escort the athletes.
