Israeli occupation forces demolished a Palestinian-owned livestock barn and a shed in the Bedouin communities of Al-Tuwana and Al-Rakeez, to the south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
Rateb Jabour, coordinator of the Anti-Settlement Committee in Hebron, told WAFA that an Israeli army force raided the two communities and demolished the two structures, which belonged to two local Palestinians who were respectively identified as Mohammad Essa Rabaee and Fadl al-Emour.
The two communities are located in Masafer Yatta, a collection of almost 19 hamlets to the south of Hebron which rely heavily on animal husbandry as the main source of livelihood.
Located in Area C of the West Bank, under full Israeli administrative and military control, the area has been subjected to repeated Israeli violations by settlers and soldiers targeting their main source of living: livestock.
Israeli violations against the area include demolition of animal barns, homes and residential structures, as well as attacks by Israeli settlers against vulnerable communities.
