Occupation forces attack Palestinian workers near Jenin

Israeli occupation forces today attacked scores of Palestinian workers near the Israeli segregation barrier outside the villages of Anin, Rummana and Zububa, to the west of Jenin in the north of the West Bank, as the latter were heading to their workplaces inside Israel, according to Palestinian security sources.

Soldiers reportedly chased the workers and attacked them using teargas, causing many cases of suffocation from gas inhalation among the workers.

Palestinian workers in the occupied West Bank usually opt for alternative routes to avoid overcrowding at major Israeli checkpoints in their daily journey to their workplaces inside Israel, and are often attacked by Israeli soldiers whenever they try to cross the Israeli segregation barrier.

Meantime in the district of Bethlehem, south of the West Bank, a Palestinian young man was injured by a live shot fired by Israeli occupation soldiers during confrontations that broke out in the village of Al-Khader.
