One person died of coronavirus in Palestine in the last 24 hours as 66 new cases were recorded, today said the Ministry of Health.
It said the one death was recorded in the Gaza Strip where 63 of the new cases were recorded and 120 patients have recovered, while the West Bank had only three new cases and no death, as 14 patients have recovered.
The Ministry said 16 people are currently getting treatment for the corona disease in hospitals, and nine are in intensive care.
At the same time, 470,516 people have been vaccinated against coronavirus in the West Bank and 95,144 in the Gaza Strip.
It said a total of 98.4 percent of the total who were infected with coronavirus disease since it was first discovered in Palestine in March of last year have recovered, while 0.4 percent remain active and 1.1 percent have died.
