Palestine today recorded 3538 new Covid-19 cases, 18 fatalities, and 5162 recovery cases in the last 24 hours, said Health Minister Mai Alkaila in her daily report on the disease.
Among the new 3538 cases, 1283 cases were recorded in the West Bank, 950 in Jerusalem, and 1305 others in the Gaza Strip.
She added that 5162 Covid-19 patients have recovered; 2707 recovery cases in the West Bank, 1450 in Jerusalem, and 1005 others in the Gaza Strip.
She said that 11 deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip, one in Jerusalem, and six in the West Bank.
The recovery rate in Palestine has so far reached 90.2 percent, while active cases reached 8.9% percent. The death toll stood at 0.9 percent of total infections.
Alkaila said 127 corona patients are in intensive care units, including 37 on ventilators.
