Palestine’s embassy in Kenya & PICA inaugurate computer lab for a school

The Palestinian International Cooperation Agency (PICA), in cooperation with the Embassy of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Kenya, has inagurated a computer lab for the benefit of the Raila Basic School in the Kibera district of Nairobi.

Ambassador Imad Al-Zuhairi, ICA’s Director General, said the project will contribute to enhancing the performance of students, and will have positive repercussions on education at the school.

The Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Mali, Hazem Shabat, stated that the embassy had organized a ceremony in which the donated devices were handed over, in the presence of representatives of the Kenyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Education Department of the Kibera region and former MP Imran Okoth.

The project aims to strengthen the bilateral relationship and cooperation between the State of Palestine and the Republic of Kenya, boosting the presence of the State of Palestine on the international arena in general, and in Kenya in particular.
