Palestinian accuses Israeli soldiers of stealing money, belongings in raid on his home

A Palestinian ex-detainee in the town of al-Issawiya, northeast of occupied Jerusalem accused Israeli occupation forces of stealing a sum of money and belongings from his home after raiding and ransacking it.

WAFA correspondent said that Israeli forces raided the house of a former Palestinian prisoner in Israeli jails and stole around $1500 and some belongings, such as perfumes, and electronic games, among others. The ex-detainee was identified as Ibrahim Dirbas.

Derbas was also fined 107 thousand Shekels under the pretext of receiving financial allocations from the Palestinian National Authority during his 22-month detention period.

This escalation comes following the decision of the Israeli Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant, to impose financial sanctions on 87 Palestinians from the occupied city of Jerusalem, under the pretext of receiving money from the Palestinian National Authority.
