Israeli guards of the West Jerusalem municipality today brutally attacked a Palestinian resident of occupied East Jerusalem and his son at the entrance to the municipality building after they defended a woman attacked by settlers, according to witnesses.
The witnesses said settlers spat at and harassed a Palestinian woman at the entrance prompting the man and his son to defend her.
The settlers, joined by the security guards of the municipality, who did nothing to stop the settlers, brutally attacked the Palestinian man and his son.
The attack by the settlers and guards was seen as racially motivated.
Israelis who attack Palestinians are never prosecuted while Palestinians who attack Israelis or even defend themselves against Israelis are often detained and imprisoned.
