RAMALLAH– The President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas, phoned Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, offering condolences for the victims of the earthquake that struck northern Syria, expressing his solidarity with the people in Syria after this disaster.
The President expressed his deep condolences to President al-Assad and the Syrian people for the earthquake victims, praying for a speedy recovery to the wounded.
President Abbas affirmed that the Palestinian leadership and people stand by the people in Syria during this great disaster, and their willingness to provide all forms of support according to the available capabilities.
