Reviewing General Administration of Purchases and Warehouses performance in Hodeida Port


Vice President of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Nasr Al-Nusairi, reviewed today,Wednesday, work progress of the General Administration of Purchases and Warehouses, and the warehouse of spare parts for equipment and machinery in Hodeida Port.

He also reviewed the mechanisms, system of procurement , warehouse supply, the availability of requirements for managing the port’s services and activities in line with the operational movement in it.

The Vice President of the Corporation listened to an explanation from the Director of Procurement and Warehouses, Engineer Ahmed Abdullah, and those in charge of the warehouse, about the availability of supplies , spare parts for equipment, the procedures followed in the purchasing and disbursement operations.

Al-Nusairi explained that the leadership of the Corporation will work during the coming period to prepare a development work plan that includes updating some systems , programs that contribute to improving the performance , activity of the ports , their affiliated
facilities in the technical, financial and administrative fields.

He pointed out the importance that the Purchasing and Warehouse Department represents to the port’s activity and services, which requires redoubling efforts to develop performance in accordance with established procedures.

Al-Nusairi was accompanied during the visit by the Director of Financial Affairs, Abdullah Harba, the Deputy Director of Purchases and Warehouses, Muhammad Al-Saafani, and a number of concerned parties.
