Technical Committee for Human Rights discusses conditions of expatriates detained in Saudi Arabia

The Technical Committee for Human Rights, in its meeting today in Sana’a, chaired by Human Rights Minister Ali Al-Dailami, discussed the conditions of expatriates detained in the prisons of the Saudi regime, who are threatened with death sentences and life imprisonment.

The meeting, which was attended by a member of the National Committee for Prisoners Affairs, Ahmed Abu Hamra, reviewed the daily crimes committed by the Saudi army against civilians in the border areas, as well as issues of violations in the occupied province.

He touched on the draft report on violations and crimes of aggression and its tools against prisoners and civilians detained in the occupied territories, issued by the Executive Unit of the National Vision at the Ministry of Human Rights.

At the meeting, Minister Al-Dailami reviewed developments related to the human rights file and the aggression course in dealing with this file.

Technical Committee members influenced the report with observations and proposals, thus contributing to the final preparation of the report, which the Ministry intends to issue as a document full of evidence to be presented to international organizations and bodies.
