The COVID-19 epidemiological situation in Palestine is getting worse and there is an increase in the number of patients who need hospitalization, today said Naji Nazzal, Director General of Hospitals in the Ministry of Health.
He warned in a statement that while there was a decrease in the number of COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations during the last period, the situation is now getting worse after the detection of Delta variant cases.
He said his ministry has made the necessary preparations to deal with the rise in numbers and its corona centers are all ready to receive cases, stressing the need for people to get vaccinated against COVID-19 since the vaccination would save lives and prevent people from getting into intensive care.
