The Ministry of Health announced today the discovery of the first three cases of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus in Palestine.
Health Ministry spokesman Kamal al-Shakhra said the three cases were discovered in Bethlehem, Hebron and Tubas in the West Bank of people coming from abroad without specifying which countries they came from.
He said Ministry staff from the preventive medicine are trying to locate people who came in contact with the infected cases to conduct the necessary tests for them.
