The Minister of Health, Dr. Salih Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, conducted an inspection visit to Imam Zain Al-Abidin Hospital affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, on Sunday evening, to follow up on the health services provided to pilgrims.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Health, the minister toured the corridors of the hospital, including all departments and halls, to follow up on the health services provided to pilgrims and find out their needs.
The minister held a meeting with the hospital administration and department managers, during which he was briefed on the reality of work and its needs to continue providing health services to pilgrims.
Al-Hasnawi inspected the patients who are receiving treatment in the hospital at the expense of the Ministry of Health, to follow up on their health status, and to find out about their medical needs and stages of treatment.
The minister praised the efforts made, the procedures followed, and the implementation of the health support plan to the Arbaeen visit and take care of patients and pilgrims.
