Weather: Cold, cloudy, rainy weather prevails

Weather today in Palestine is cold to relatively cold, rainy and cloudy with no significant change in temperature, which remains below the seasonal average by 3°C, as the country remains under the effects of a low-pressure cold front, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Sporadic rain accompanied by occasional thunderstorms is highly expected on many areas. Winds are southwesterly to southeasterly, light to moderate, and sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and in Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 7°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 11°C and a low of 6°C are expected. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 12°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

No significant change in temperature or weather conditions is expected for Monday. Rain, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms, is also expected in most areas.

Similar weather conditions of sporadic rain showers, thunderstorms, cloudy skies and cold atmosphere are expected to also prevail on Tuesday and Wednesday, with no significant change in temperature.
