Weather forecast: Partly cloudy skies, drop in temperature

Weather today is partly cloudy and moderate in the mountains and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley in daytime with a drop in temperature, which approaches 3°C below the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Partly cloudy and moderate to slightly cold conditions are expected in the night and morning hours. There is a chance of sporadic light rain on some districts, especially in the north. Light to moderate westerly to northwesterly wind blows in daytime, and becomes occasionally active. Mild to active wind blows in nighttime. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 17°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 24°C and a low of 16°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 43°C and a low of 25°C while it is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 20°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Friday’s temperature is set to slightly rise with partly cloudy to clear and moderate conditions in the mountains and relatively hot conditions in other districts in daytime. Mild to slightly cold conditions are expected in the night and morning hours.

Saturday’s temperature is set to further rise and become seasonal, paving the way to partly cloudy to clear and relatively hot conditions in daytime and moderate to slightly cold conditions in the night and morning hours.

A further rise is expected in temperature which becomes slightly unseasonably high on Sunday, paving the way to relatively hot to hot conditions in daytime and moderate to slightly cold conditions in the night and morning hours.
