Weather: Low pressure continues bringing low temperatures, rain and thunderstorms

A low-pressure cold front that affected Palestine yesterday is expected to continue today keeping temperature 4°C below the seasonal average and bringing rain and thunderstorms in most areas during the day, which end in the evening and at night, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are westerly, moderate to active, and sea waves are medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 15°C and a low of 11°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 14°C and a low of 10°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 16°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 16°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Sunday’s temperature is expected to further rise but remains 3°C below the seasonal average.

A further rise in temperature is expected on Monday to become around the seasonal average.

No change in temperature or weather conditions is expected for Tuesday.
