Weather: Slight rise in temperature, chance of light rain

Weather today in Palestine is partly cloudy in the daytime with a slight rise in temperature, which becomes 2°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

A chance of scattered rain showers is expected in some areas, especially the north.

Weather tonight is partly cloudy and cold in mountains and moderate in other areas, with a little chance of rain. Winds are westerly to northeasterly, light to moderate, and sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 17°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 26°C and a low of 16°C are expected. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 36°C and a low of 24°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 20°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Temperature is expected to drop on Monday through Tuesday, setting back to its annual average. A chance of scattered rain is likely on both days.

Temperature drops further on Wednesday approaching nearly 2°C below seasonal average, with a chance of light rain over some areas.
