Weather: Temperature drops as country remains under low-pressure cold front

Palestine remains today under the effect of the low-pressure cold front, with another drop in temperature, becoming to 6°C below the seasonal average, and with cloudy and relatively cold conditions in the daytime, particularly in the mountains, and cold conditions in the night.
Sporadic rain showers, thunderstorms, and hail are expected across the country, to be accompanied by occasional thunderstorms, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are westerly to southwesterly, moderate to active, and sea waves are medium to high.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 11°C and a low of 6°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 10°C and a low of 5°C are expected. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 9°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A rise in temperature is expected for Tuesday, but remains 3°C below the seasonal average, with a chance of rain across the country, said the PMD, which warned people against flash floods in low areas and valleys, slippery roads and low horizontal visibility.
Temperature rises on Wednesday but slightly remains below the annual average. Partially cloudy to clear skies are expected.
