General Attorney meets law official rule at High Commissioner for Human Rights Office in Yemen


General Attorney, Judge Dr. Muhammad Muhammad al-Dailami, met today,Saturday, Badr Farouk, the rule of law official at the High Commissioner for Human Rights’ Office in Yemen.

During the meeting, which was attended by the Deputy Head of the Technical Office in the Attorney General’s Office, Judge Abdul Rahman Al-Mutawakel, aspects of cooperation in the field of strengthening the rule of law and human rights were discussed.

In the meeting, the General Attorney referred to the steps taken by Yemen in the field of human rights, not at the level of Yemen, but in absolutely supporting human rights, including the rights of the Palestinians, and rejecting the Zionist entity’s violations of human rights in Palestine.

He pointed to the important and pivotal role of the Public Prosecution in strengthening the rule of law, and the material needs that the Commission can provide, to benefit from it in developing infrastructure, expanding in the areas of training, capacity building, and the technical work system of equ
ipment and devices.

For his part, Farouk reviewed the Commission’s programs and plans to support human rights in Yemen, including support for rule of law projects.

He expressed his hope to expand areas of cooperation with the General’s Attorney Office to achieve common goals.
