Al-Houthi inaugurates cooperative and development work in Ibb


Member of the Supreme Political Council, Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi, and the Governor of Ibb, Abdul-Wahid Salah, today,Sunday, inaugurated cooperative and development work in the province, in implementation of the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to pay attention to community building.

The inauguration comes within the framework of the conclusion of training and qualification courses in the field of ‘Basics of Voluntary Work – Development and Development Resources – Community Initiatives’ with the participation of 292 development knights from the districts of Jableh, Al-Sada, Al-Radma, Al-Adin, Al-Sabra, and Dhu Al-Safal, which were implemented in ten days by the Bonyan Academy for Training and Qualification funded by the province’s Agricultural , Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Finance Unit.

At the inauguration, Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi praised the role of Bonyan Academy and Foundation, the Supreme Agricultural and Fish Committee, the province’s leadership, the prov
ince’s development team, the province’s Agricultural and Fishery Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in training and qualifying development knights from the youth elites to motivate society in bringing about a development renaissance.

Governor Salah stressed the importance of actively contributing to the implementation of community initiatives and motivating the community to bring about an agricultural and development renaissance in the districts.

He pointed out the importance of moving towards sustainable development in accordance with God’s guidance, by exploiting natural resources and harnessing them to serve the local community.

While the graduates’ speech, delivered by Osama Al-Masawy, indicated that the team received training programs on the role of voluntary work and enhancing community participation in local development in various fields.

Al-Masawy reviewed the extent to which the trainees benefited from the course programs , their absorption of experiences and skills in the basics of voluntee
r work, development, resources, management of community initiatives and cooperative work, which would raise their capabilities and expose them to new models within the framework of local development.

Meteorology: Thunderstorms of varying intensity expected in several provinces


The National Center of Meteorology expected thunderstorms of varying intensity to fall in a number of provinces of the Republic during the next 24 hours.

The center stated in its weather bulletin, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the weather will be partly cloudy to generally cloudy, with a chance of thunderstorms of varying intensity, accompanied by hailstones at times, over separate areas of Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Al-Dhale’, Lahj, and Al-Bayda, Shabwa, Hadramaut and Al-Mahra provinces.

It pointed out the possibility of scattered rain falling on parts of Sana’a, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Raymah, the highlands adjacent to Tihama Plain , parts of the southwestern and eastern coasts, with the possibility of fog forming on parts of the highlands of Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Al Dhale’, Lahj, Al-Bayda, Shabwa and Hadramaut.

The center indicated that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy, with light to medium northeasterly winds in the desert areas.

The center ca
lled on citizens to exercise caution , not to be in the paths of floods , valleys, and not to risk crossing them during and after rain. It warned against using mobile phones , electrical appliances, being near tall trees and high places to avoid lightning strikes.

Dr. Maqbouli congratulates Revolution Leader and President of Political Council on advent of Ramadan


The Deputy Prime Minister of the Caretaker Government for Services and Development Affairs, Dr. Hussein Maqbouli, sent a cable of congratulations to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed. Abdul Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan.

He pointed to the spiritual significance of the month of Ramadan and its importance in refining souls and promoting social solidarity and compassion among the members of society, in addition to being the month of jihad, work and providing good deeds.

He pointed out that the month of Ramadan this year coincided with the challenges facing the nation, foremost of which is the Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people and the war of genocide they are experiencing.

He praised the honorable position of the Yemeni people under their wise leadership in supporting the brothers in Gaza.

Expanded meeting at Endowments Authority to welcome holy month of Ramadan


An expanded meeting was held today,Sunday, at the General Authority of Endowments, headed by the Chairman of the Authority, Abdul Majeed Al-Houthi, as part of the preparations to welcome the holy month of Ramadan and prepare for the programs of the holy month, under the slogan ‘May you be righteous.’

The meeting, which was attended by the Authority’s agents and included employees of the Authority’s office and the Endowments offices in the Capital Secretariat and Sana’a province, discussed plans related to establishing the Ramadan program and the role of the Authority’s employees in implementing general mobilization programs and strengthening mobilization paths.

Houthi urged everyone to organize their work according to timetables that help them seize the holy month, and make full use of its time in obedience to God, worshiping Him, and drawing closer to Him in order to obtain His mercy, forgiveness, and satisfaction.

He praised the victories achieved by the Yemeni armed forces in Red Sea and their successfu
l operations against American, Israeli, and British ships. He said, ‘These victories made Yemen the focus of admiration for the peoples of the world, and this could not have been achieved for Yemen except with the presence of a great Mujahid and believing leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi.’ .

Houthi stressed that Yemen, under this faithful leadership, today presents the model of the Islamic State and the project of Islam, its pride and dignity.

Parliament speaker congratulates Revolution Leader and President of Political Council by Ramadan

President Al-Mashat Congratulates Leaders of Arab and Islamic Countries on Occasion of Ramadan


His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, sent cables of congratulations to the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan.

In the cables, President Al-Mashat expressed his warmest congratulations to the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries and their peoples, wishing them further prosperity and development.

He referred to the great event, which culminated in the month of Ramadan with the first victory of the Muslims in the Great Battle of Badr, which was Ramadan a month of victories and empowerment.

President Al-Mashat called on the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries to follow the example of the Holy Prophet and strive hard to unify the position to confront the unjust Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and all of Palestine, and to support Al-Aqsa Al-Sharif by all means.

YGC pays drop visit to control cooking gas prices


In coordination with security bureaus, the Yemeni Gas Company on Sunday paid a drop visit to control cooking gas prices in Sana’a City and seize supplies sold in noncompliance with specifications and conditions.

YGP inspectors found that a large deal of gas cylinders were sold at black market or randomly beyond controls and filled in incorrectly, and that the minimum criteria of safety were not considered.

Sellers found in noncompliance with specifications will be referred to Prosecution for legal actions, oil vice-minister and YGP acting director, Yasser al-Wahidi, told Saba.

SCMCHA meets Director of UNOPS


The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation(SCMCHA), Ibrahim Al-Hamli, discussed today, in Sana’a, with the Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Yemen, Rehana Zawar, UNOPS interventions in various service and development fields.

The meeting touched on the level of implementation of UNPS projects, in coordination with the Supreme Council, in a number of vital sectors in several provinces.

Al-Hamli stressed the importance of full coordination with the Supreme Council, which is the one and only window into humanitarian work and the body responsible for the work of organizations.

He pointed out the importance of UNPS’s interventions in various fields, and the Council’s keenness to provide all facilities to the organization to continue implementing its various programs and activities, stressing the need to focus on development projects according to the priorities of need for the community
to benefit from those projects, to work on continuous evaluation and follow-up of implementation of projects to ensure their completion.

While Zawar appreciated the cooperation of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs and its keenness to facilitate the office’s tasks, stressing its readiness, in coordination with the Council, to intervene in the implementation of projects.

The meeting was attended by the Director General of UN Organizations, Turki Jamil, the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, Muhammad Al-Razza, and a number of those concerned with UNEPS.

President Al-Mashat congratulates Revolution Leader and Yemeni people on advent of blessed month of Ramadan


His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, congratulated the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed. Abdul Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, the heroes of the armed and security forces, the Yemeni people and the Arab and Islamic nation, on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan.

In his speech on Sunday on this occasion, President Al-Mashat pointed out that the blessed month of Ramadan is a great educational station to gain the strength of determination and will, and the strength of endurance, fortitude and patience, and it is the month of jihad in which the march of jihad for the sake of God was launched, and the first victory of Muslims was achieved in the Battle of Badr.

YWU condemns violations against Palestinian women


The Yemeni Women’s Union (YWU) condemned the inhuman violations against Palestinian women in Gaza Strip, calling for stopping and combating the oppression suffered by the Palestinian people in general and Palestinian women.

The Union’s statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), pointed out what most women in some countries that have been subjected to siege, aggression and disasters, especially Palestinian women in Gaza Strip, suffer from injustice, oppression, persecution, genocide, lack of security and stability.

The statement stressed the need for the Palestinian people and all women of the world to enjoy human rights in a way that improves capabilities and provides opportunities for a decent living, indicating that Yemeni women have pivotal roles in facing challenges to enhance their role in sustainable development and building an interconnected society in which security and stability prevail.

YWU called on Arab and international governments, organizations and communities
to work to achieve security, peace and stability, empower women and build their capabilities in light of the changes and the necessity of providing them with all facilities to achieve the goals as they are the foundation of society.

Speaker of Shura Council congratulates Revolution Leader, President of Supreme Political Council by Ramadan


The Speaker of the Shura Council, Mohammed Al-Aidarous, congratulated the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed. Abdul Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, on the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan 1445 AH.

The Speaker of the Shura Council, on his behalf and on behalf of the Presidency, members and employees of the Shura Council, expressed his warmest congratulations and blessings on this solemn religious occasion, which coincides with the approaching anniversary of the National Day of Steadfastness.

He pointed out that despite the suffering experienced by the Yemeni people as a result of the siege and aggression, they were able, thanks to God and the wise leadership, to stand tall and proud to tell the whole world that the Palestinian people are not alone in their confrontation against the Zionist war.
