Three Palestinians killed in Israeli bombing in Jenin camp


JENIN: Two Palestinians were Wednesday dawn killed and seven others were injured following an Israeli drone bombing of a group of youths in the Jenin camp, sources said.

The Ministry of Health said that Hamza Arrawi, 27, from Al-Ain camp in Nablus, and Mohammad Nasser Al-Sabti, 19, from Jenin camp, were killed after an Israeli drone bombed a group of young men in front of a house in Al-Damj neighborhood.

With the killing of Ararawi and Al-Sabti, the death toll in Jenin rises to three, after the killing of 19-year-old Ayman Youssef Hassan Azouqa by occupation forces’ bullets in Jenin.

Day 173 of Genocide: Dozens of Palestinian civilians killed in ongoing Israeli bombardment in Gaza


GAZA: Dozens of Palestinian civilians, the majority of whom were children and women, were Wednesday killed, and others were injured, in the ongoing Israeli occupation bombing of the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7th.

A number of citizens were killed, and others were injured, in an Israeli bombing of a gathering of citizens near Al-Mintar commercial crossing (Karni) east of Gaza City.

The occupation warplanes bombed a house in Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City, killing two people and wounding others.

A number of citizens were injured after Israeli warplanes bombed a house near Al-Sousi Mosque in the Beach Camp in Gaza City.

In the northern Gaza Strip, a Palestinian was killed and others were injured after Israeli forces bombed a gathering of citizens while they were trying to obtain aid east of Beit Hanoun.

One civilians was killed, and others were injured, in an artillery shelling on al-Amal city, west of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Palestinian injured by Israeli gunfire during raid near Bethlehem


BETHLEHEM: A Palestinian man was Wednesday injured by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets during an Israeli military incursion into the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem.

Local sources said that Israeli forces fired alloys of gunfire towards the young man while he was inside his vehicle, injuring him in the right foot.

He was later transferred to a nearby hospital for medical treatment following his injury.

Israeli forces further detained a Palestinian man after raiding and ransacking his family’s home.

Death toll in Gaza rises to 32,490 following ongoing Israeli airstrikes


GAZA: The Palestinian death toll from Israel’s deadly offensive against the Gaza Strip since October 7th, 2023, has now soared to 32,490, medical sources confirmed on Wednesday.

Sources added that at least 74,889 others have also been injured in the onslaught.

At least 76 people were killed and 102 others were injured in Israeli attacks that took place in the last 24 hours, they added.

Many victims are still trapped under rubble and on the roads. Rescuers are still unable to reach them, stressed the sources.

Dozens of civilians killed in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza Strip


GAZA: Scores of civilians were killed and others were wounded today in a barrage of Israeli airstrikes that targeted several areas in the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported that 11 civilians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house for the Dhair family in the city of Rafah.

Furthermore, Israeli fighter jets targeted a house belonging to al-Hamayda family in the city, causing several injuries among its residents.

Israeli tanks stationed near the Kuwait Roundabout area in Gaza City, north of the Strip, opened a barrage of gunfire toward a group of civilians while they were waiting for humanitarian aid, critically wounding two.

The Israeli occupation forces raided al-Nasser Hospital in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip and detained several medical personnel and displaced persons who sought refuge inside the hospital.

The soldiers also ordered a number of civilians to evacuate the hospital.

PPS says 20 Palestinians were detained by Israeli forces in the West Bank


RAMLLAH: Israeli occupation forces Monday detained 20 Palestinians in an ongoing massive Israeli detention campaign across the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

PPS said that the detention campaigns took place in the governorates of Ramallah, Hebron, Nablus, Salfit, Tulkarm, and Jenin.

Earlier today, three Palestinians were killed, and seven others were injured, following an Israeli drone bombing that targeted a group of civilians in Jenin camp.

Meanwhile, the detention campaigns were accompanied by widespread abuse, severe beatings, and threats against the detainees and their families, added PPS.

The total number of Palestinians, including children, women and elderly men, rounded up after October 7 surged to about 7,820 persons.

Furthermore, the Israeli army continues to carry out the crime of enforced disappearance against detainees in the Gaza Strip, as the occupation refuses to provide human rights institutions with any details regarding their fate or their pl
aces of detention.

Israeli colonists attack Palestinian shepherds near Jenin, kill two sheep


JENIN: Israeli colonists this evening attacked Palestinian shepherds in the town of Jaba’ to the south of Jenin and pelted them with stones, according to local sources.

Sources told WAFA that colonists from the illegal colony of Homesh attacked shepherds and pelted them with stones, forcing them to leave the grazing pastures.

Colonists further prevented shepherds from grazing their livestock in the mountainous area of Jaba’.

They also killed two sheep belonging to one of the shepherds. The owner of the sheep, Rabe’ Kana’an, told WAFA that a group of colonists armed with sharp tools attacked him while he was grazing his livestock in the Jaba’ area. The colonists killed two sheep and injured one.

The colonists were fended off by residents in the said area.

Israel continues its strikes on Gaza despite UNSC resolution calling for ceasefire during Ramadan


GAZA: Despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire during the holy month of Ramadan, the Israeli occupation continued today its attacks and airstrikes against the besieged Gaza Strip, resulting in several casualties.

According to sources, nine civilians were killed in Israeli airstrikes that targeted several homes and areas in Gaza City.

Israeli warplanes launched several raids targeting the Ajor family home west of the city, killing eight civilians, including children and women, and injuring several others.

A citizen was also killed and others were injured in the Israeli bombardment of the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in Gaza City.

At least seven civilians were also injured in a series of violent Israeli strikes that targeted areas near the city’s eastern district of Zeitoun.

On Monday, the UN Security Council passed a resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza during the holy month of Ramadan and affirming the urgent need to expand the flow of aid into Gaza.

Colonists assault Palestinian child, seize over a dozen sheep in Hebron


HEBRON: Colonists tonight assaulted a Palestinian child, seized over a dozen sheep, and destroyed crops in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron, said local sources.

Sources said that colonists assaulted a child, seized 15 sheep, and destroyed more than 50 dunums of crops in Masafer Yatta.

The sources told WAFA that a group of armed colonists attacked 12-year-old Mahmoud al-Hamamda while he was herding sheep in the Fateh Sidra area in Masafer Yatta, causing him bruises, in addition to injuring several sheep as a result of being beaten with sticks and stones.

The sources added that a group of armed colonists dressed in army clothing detained for long hours Ibrahim Etaimat, from the al-Zwaidin area, and Mohammed Khalil Abu Tabikh, whose vehicle was also seized by the colonists, along with 15 sheep.

The colonists handed them over to other colonists near the Al-Fakhit area.

Over the past two days, colonists destroyed more than 50 dunums of agricultural fields belonging to the Salama Makhamra family in Magh
ayir Al-Ubaid, grazing their livestock in the fields which led to the destruction of wheat and barley crops.

Young Palestinian dies of critical wounds sustained this morning in Israeli drone attack on Jenin


JENIN: A Nineteen-year-old Palestinian succumbed this evening to critical wounds he sustained in an Israeli drone shelling that targeted the Jenin refugee camp this morning.

WAFA correspondent quoted the Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin reporting that the young man, who was identified as Walid Loui Walid Al-Asta, from the city of Nablus, died of serious wounds he sustained this morning in an Israeli drone attack against the said camp.

This morning, the Ministry of Health announced the killing of two other young men; 27-year-old Hamza Ararawi from the al-Ain refugee camp in Nablus and 19-year-old Mohammed Nasser al-Sabti, from the Jenin camp, following an Israeli drone shelling that targeted a group of young men while they were present in front of a house in the Damaj neighborhood, in Jenin’s camp.

BETHLEHEM: Israeli occupation forces tonight attacked a mosque in the town of Taqou, southeast of Bethlehem, according to local sources.

Sources told WAFA correspondent that the occupation forces fired stun grenades inside and around the Osama bin Zayed Mosque in the said area, while citizens were performing the Ramadan night prayer of Taraweeh, spreading panic and fear among worshippers.

Israeli forces also closed all the entrances leading to the town.
