Israeli forces detain five Palestinians, including mother and her two sons, in East Jerusalem


JERUSALEM: Israeli forces this evening detained five Palestinians, including a mother and her two sons, from different parts of East Jerusalem.

Forces detained a mother and her two sons from inside their home in the Al-Thawri neighborhood, in addition to two youths who were detained from the Shu’fat refugee camp and the town of At-Tur in East Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that forces detained a young man after storming his home and destroying its contents in the Shu’fat camp.

In the At-Tur neighborhood, Israeli intelligence offices detained another young man after storming his family home.

Colonists, backed by army forces, steal Palestinian-owned tractor near Bethlehem


BETHLEHEM: Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, stole today a tractor belonging to a Palestinian resident in the town of Battir, west of Bethlehem, in the southern occupied West Bank.

According to Omar al-Qaisi, an activist, colonists stole a tractor belonging to resident Hussein Khalil Abu Na’ama, 55, while he was tending to his land in the al-Khammar area in Battir.

Israeli forces, who did nothing to stop the colonists, briefly detained Abu Na’ama and subjected him to field interrogation.
