Damascus, 293 new coronavirus cases and 11 deaths were reported in Syria, while 73 recoveries were recorded, according to the Health Ministry.
Meanwhile, the total number of coronavirus infections detected in Syria has reached up to 33,933 till now, while the recoveries have amounted to 23,742, and 2,238 fatalities have been recorded, according to a statement by the Ministry.
The first coronavirus infection was detected in Syria on March 22nd in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality from the virus was reported on the 29th of the same month.
