Handing over investment sites to establish industrial complex and projects in industrial zone in Hodeida

The Industry and Trade Ministry handed over to a number of investors plots of land in three locations in the industrial zone in Hodeida province, with an area of one million, 446 thousand , 379 square meters, to establish investment projects in local industrial development.

The Undersecretary for the Industry Sector, Ayman Al-Khalqi, handed over to Rowad Al-Saeeda Company for Real Estate and Investment Development a large nucleus with an area of one million and 300 thousand square meters for the purpose of establishing an industrial complex consisting of 860 small and medium-sized multi-purpose factories, which will be equipped with all services, infrastructure and facilities and prepared for investment as the first industrial complex in Yemen.

Al-Khalqi noted that handing over these new sites to businessmen in the industrial investment sector, in addition to the previous sites handed over to investors, culminates the vision of the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, the government and
the Ministry of Industry to create a local industry and support and encourage investors to achieve real industrial development.

He stressed the keenness of the Industry Ministry to enhance the prospects for coordination and cooperation with financiers , investors, and to grant them facilities and advantages to move towards promising opportunities in local production and manufacturing in a way that meets aspiration and ambition in this regard.

The Undersecretary of the Industry Sector pointed out that the industrial zone in Hodeida province has begun to witness various industrial projects in multiple fields that will have an impact, in addition to the future projects that will be implemented, praising the efforts of the leadership of the local authority in the province in cooperating with the Industry and Trade Ministry to support and motivate investors.
