4 Egyptian Forces Killed In An Armed Clash In Al-Arish

Four Egyptian police officers and personnel were killed in an attack targeting a security headquarters affiliated with the National Security and its surroundings in Arish, north of the Sinai Peninsula.

The Associated Press reported: “The military hospital in Arish received the bodies of the officers and police personnel, who are from the special operations forces of the central security sector.”

Egyptian media had said earlier on Sunday that an officer and two policemen were killed during the armed clash.

The same sources indicated that the sounds of gunfire were heard from 7:am until 3: pm, coinciding with the outage of all communication networks and internet services in the city.
